A Special Birthday Party for 50 Guests in the backyard
The tents were decorated, the guests invited and the honouree truly surprised at this special garden party! The menu below was designed to offer a relaxed atmosphere, where guests could visit beautiful displays of self-serve finger foods and be ‘catertained’ by our chefs who prepared delicious hot dishes right before the guests eyes:
The self-serve and eye-catching food displays included:
- Impressive display of cheese
- A beautiful arrangement Canadian, imported and specialty cheeses complimented with our sun-dried cranberry and cheddar log and served with a tasty array of artisan breads
- Not-your-ordinary cocktail meatballs
- Our delicious mixture of lean bison and veal meat with fresh herbs and spices, rolled and smoked over cherry wood in our kitchen and roast-cooked with these delicious flavours: Sweet and sour Alberta wild berry sauce (includes lingonberries),Quebec wild mushroom and Marsala cream sauce
- Hummus with French attitude
- Our own dressed up version of this yummy chickpea & tahini dip. French influenced with orange & roasted fennel served with rubbed garlic croustades.
- Cold roasted Citrus & tequila glazed Atlantic salmon
- Attractively displayed in segments and served with seasonally inspired salsa and fresh breads
- T&M’s contemporary shrimp cocktail with a twist
- Tangelo and sweet basil poached colossal shrimp presented on the rim of oversized martini glass filled with wonderful adobo rosé sauce with smoked chipotle peppers
- Maple & fresh mint roasted lamb
- Our chef created a martini glass presentation of a la minute sliced tender Lamb with a roasted vegetables, toasted almond and cranberries cous cous and by classic red wine jus.
- Latka action station
- Crispy latkas were heated on a griddled plat by our chef and served with a choice of toppings: Sour cream and snipped chives; Home-style maple syrup caramelized apple compote; Smoked Salmon and fresh dill; Caramelized onions; Duck confit with goat cheese
- And to accompany the birthday cake, we provided a gorgeous fresh cut fruit display with a minted yogurt-honey dip along with our wonderful selection of our own made-from-scratch petit fours that just melt in your mouth!”
