Catering Staff
At Tulips & Maple, our difference is our people. Throughout the entire company, the Tulips & Maple team truly cares about executing an exceptional event. Our staff is experienced, knowledgeable, attentive and professional. They are constantly praised for anticipating our clients’ needs before our clients do! We ensure that your event is staffed correctly so that service is quick, gracious and seamless.
Our catering managers and event conductors are educated in hotel and restaurant management and are continuously receiving on-going training. They plan and supervise the multitude of details for your event including table set-up, service team, supplier logistics, and event “flow”.
Our culinary team is the backbone of Tulips and Maple. Qualified and meticulous, these culinary performers have a passion for excellent food and want to delight you with their cooking.

Dishware & Event Rentals
Tulips & Maple is connected in the industry. We have carefully selected suppliers on whom we can count 100% of the time and whose quality meets our high standards. We will calculate your rental needs and make all the arrangements for you based on your event details. More about rentals.
Décor & Presentation
Our signature is our food presentation. Guests often recognize a Tulips & Maple event as soon as they walk in the room. We provide complementary food station, bar and buffet décor for every event we cater free of charge using items from our own prop room. Every platter and plate served by Tulips & Maple is attractively garnished to enhance your culinary experience. Should you have specific décor and decorating requirements, we may charge a small fee to cover additional purchases and labour. Visit our event resources for event decorators.
Bar
Tulips & Maple Inc. holds a valid liquor licence and follows the regulations of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. We can assist you with either a host or cash bar.
The most cost effective option is to supply the beverages yourself and leave the bar set-up, service and tear down to us. We do not charge a corkage fee just the bartender’s time, bar rentals and any additional bar supplies. You would be responsible for obtaining the Special Occasions Permit if your event is held in a public location.
Tulips & Maple can provide full bar services of planning, ordering, purchasing and delivering in addition to the bar set-up and service as an alternative option. The cost for the full bar service is related to the size and complexity of the bar. Our catering consultants will guide you in making the right decisions for your bar.
Other Suppliers and Services
We work with the most professional suppliers and service companies in the city. We can recommend excellent D.J’s, florists, photographers and other specialty suppliers. Visit our event resources page for a list of our preferred suppliers.
Celebration Cakes
We make delicious wedding and celebration cakes but only for the events that we cater. Our cakes are designed for exquisite taste. We work with real buttercream and offer simple yet elegant designs. Should you prefer elaborate and delicate pastry work we would likely refer you to a premier pastry shop.
