Tulips & Maple’s forte is in designing menus that are tailored to our client’s event and preferred ambiance. Many business events have special themes that can be incorporated into the menu and enhanced with our ‘catertaining’ atmosphere. Enjoy these custom menu examples:

The Event of the Year for Oxford Properties

This grand opening event was designed to put on a show and the food was one of the main acts. Guests were first greeted with two delicious hors d’oeuvres and then at the special unveiling moment were ushered into the lavish lobby where the following food stations enticed them:

Tantalizing chef interactive stations

French beef martini
Our chef created a martini glass presentation of tender slices of Tulips & Maple’s own roasted Angus beef sirloin with Dijon mustard and fresh thyme and served it on whipped potatoes with fire roasted red peppers. Topped with rich Cabernet Sauvignon red wine jus and crumbled goat cheese or blue cheese this was to die for!
"Shaken-not-Stirred" salad Cosmo bar
Unique to Tulips & Maple; our culinary staff “shook” each guest’s salad in a martini shaker with a matching dressing and enhancements and served it in a Cosmo glass. Salads were “Twisted” Chicken Caesar Salad or Thai egg Noodle Salad with Duck

Eye-catching self-serve stations offering…

T&M’s signature layered Bombay shrimp spread
We cannot retire this winner! Our layered spread of sweet Arctic ice shrimp, authentic mango chutney and coconut curry cream cheese, served with freshly baked pita wedges.
Contemporary shrimp cocktail with a twist
Tangelo and sweet basil poached colossal shrimp presented on the rim of oversized martini glass filled with wonderful adobo rosé sauce with smoked chipotle peppers.
Platter of the best Sushi
 
Velvety Gruyere and smoky Gouda cheese fondue
Served with fresh market vegetables, local homemade sausage, selected breads and croustades
 

The beautiful food continued to flow for the rest of the evening as our theme-dressed servers passed show-stopping platters with these funky hors d’oeuvres:

Prosciutto flower on Parmesan wafer with poached pear
 
Funky wild smoked salmon lollipop
 
Gourmet deviled eggs, the comeback – Thai curried or basil pesto

Of course, we couldn’t end the show without a little sweetness and guests were treated to:

Eye-catching Chocolate Fountain
Made using only the finest ingredients; stunning large fruit skewers were dipped by our serving staff through the chocolate fountain and served with giant marshmallows, fresh lime coated bananas and plain cookies.

An Elegant Thank You Canadiana Dinner for 70 Guests

We know our hard-working clients attend many business dinners and so we strive to offer a Tulips & Maple business dinner that truly is a treat for clients and guests. The menu below was designed for a national organization that invited their exceptional suppliers to a special dinner at the office.

  • Cucumber ring with sprouting Ontario spinach and bacon salad served with a concasse of roasted yellow pepper, extreme greens and warm pine nut dressing
  • Leek, PEI potato and roasted corn soup topped with maple syrup roasted East Coast scallops or smoked salmon julienne & chives. Served with charred red pepper coulis.
  • Roasted Alberta beef strip loin topped with Canadian Port and lingonberry jus. Complimented with grilled black Tiger shrimp
  • Quebec mushroom and “Chevrai Noir” cheese Risotto
  • Family of roasted spring vegetables (bundle of roasted asparagus, rainbow coloured carrots and peppers)

A trio of desserts complimented with an artisan cheese nugget was presented on a square plate:

  • Dark chocolate decadence
  • Espresso brownie chocolate cake layered with chocolate ganache filling and caramelized Ontario cranberries.
  • Rich white chocolate and orange truffle
    Infused with “Grand Marnier” liqueur and rolled in toasted hazelnut crumbs
  • Meringue with Canadian blueberries
    Airy meringue base topped with Bourbon vanilla custard and Canadian farmed blueberries
  • “Balderson” 2 years old cheddar cheese with Ontario wine jelly
