Big Wish Bash
Hello, my name is Ben and I am 9 years old.
When I was 7 years old, I was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (cf). It took the doctors a really long time to figure out what was wrong with me. Now I can get the right treatments and do my breathing exercises and I feel much better.
I know my family worries about me. My Mom and Dad are organizing a cocktail party to help raise money to help me and all the other kids out there with cf. Mom tells me that they are close to finding a cure, but they still need more money for research.
This party is called the Big Wish Bash (BWB, the same as my initials!) and will be on September 18, 2008 at 7:00 pm at Tulips and Maple in Ottawa. The plan is to raise a lot of money for cf.
Will you please help me and all the other kids with cf?
